On the 2nd of March we drove from Wave Rock to Esperance. Wave Rock is this giant rock in the shape of a wave. The rock was about 15-20 meters high. You can climb on the rock, but it’s hard to go up the wave part so you have to go around the side to get to the top.
When we got to Esperance we explored the beaches. Esperance has some of the whitest sands in Australia. The water is cold - about the same temp as Victoria’s water in summer, which means great white territory. Thankfully we didn't see any. The next day we went to Twilight Beach where we mostly played in the sand because the water was cold but we did go in for an ocastional swim or boogie board in the ocean. The sand is squeaky when you step on it and slide your feet. Sometimes there are kangaroos on the beach!
