In Sydney we had fun with our friends from 5 years ago, Pam & Scott, and on our last day we went to the Opera at the Sydney Opera house. The Opera was called The Magic Flute by Mozart. It was really good. My favourite part was the 3 kids that where ghosts. They were wearing big white hats with spikes on them - the hats looked really heavy. The main characters were Tamino and Pamina prince and princess. There was also a bird catcher that falls in love with a girl named Pappagino. They sang a really funny song about Pappagino! There was also dancing polar bears and thiefs that looked like the 49 thiefs from Aladan, they did a dance too! The opera was so good I wish we could have seen it twice! It was cool to be back in Sydney. We also went on the tour of the Opera house which brought us through the basement and backstage where we saw lots of workers setting up and taking down decorations for shows and Operas as the Opera house is very busy. We saw the workers setting up a stage for Opera which had two real horses in it. They bring those horses into the show by an underground elevator that is ginormous!!
