The next moning we packed up to drive to Exmouth where they’re famous for the whale sharks that come in there around March. After the drive, we stopped at a beach and did some boogie boarding. On the beach, there are lots of turtle nests. Each nest is about a meter long each way. In each nest there are about 80-150 eggs. There are also little baby turtle tracks everywhere in the sand. That night we went looking for turtles. We sat on the sand and waited. But we didn’t see anything.
Then we drove to Monkey Mia, which is famous for their dolphin interactions and dugong sightings. In the morning we went to a dolphin experience. I fed a female dolphin named Picallo. We only fed them 3 little fish so that they have to catch food for them selves. Later that day we went on a boat trip on a catamaran. We saw a dugong, a baby shark about 6 inches long, and lots of dolphins. Sometimes they swim beside the boat. It was awesome to see the marine life!
