Byron Bay is a little beach town in New South Wales. To get there we drove for 10.5 hours from a small town called Dubbo, it took for ever. We got to the camp ground late so we went to bed right after we got there. (by the way, we sleep in a little camper van).
The next day we went surfboard hunting because Lia wanted a surfboard. When we finally got one we hit the beach! It was so nice. The water was just the right temperature and the waves were perfect for boogie boarding, which I pretty much did all day. Oh ya, I went surfing on Lia’s new board and stood up on almost every wave!
After a few days of surfing and boogie boarding our neighbor from Victoria came to visit us. She arrived at 4:30 am on the bus and she came to sleep with me in the top bunk and Lia came to sleep on the bottom with Mom and Dad. Then, when we woke up we had pancakes for breakfast, after that we went into town, there we looked at a few surf shops and later went to the beach. That night there was a storm apparently from two cyclones following each other. And when it rains here in Australia it usually pours but thankfully only for a few minutes.
We stayed in Byron Bay for 9 nights but it went quickly because I was having so much fun.
