Hi guys,
So, Here's what happened after we escaped the horrible flies. We arrived at the marshes again and enjoyed the AC and a lunch withOUT flies. We stayed one night in their house and then dropped them off the Rotto ferry, and said goodbye for good until they come to Canada. We miss them! So, we drove for ever and ever and ever, while me and Kali sweated in the 40-47 degree weather with no AC in the back. There were new sweat stains everyday on our seats, and if I touched my knee, or any part of my body for that matter, it was soaking with sweat, so, as you can imagine for a girl who wants to live in Yellowknife, not so fun. Anyways Macca's (McDonalds) 20 cent ice cream revived us from time to time. We drove to Esperance, but we had to stop for the night at wave rock, because it's dangerous to drive in the remote outback places at dusk, for there are way too many kangaroos. Here is a few photos of Wave rock, it's pretty self explanatory... and cool! It is over 3 billion years old, so I don't think any other rocks are going to challenge it. I would've really liked to climb higher, but it was scorching hot from it's recent hours in the sun on my bare feet to stay on it too long.

Esperance was amazing; there were beaches galore and I really wish I had a surfboard, but I made do with our boogie board. I met a girl from Montreal who had her friend's surfboard. We had lots of fun, and then Kali made a "sand cafe" where I ordered lots of seaweed milkshakes. We went to a beach where there were eagle rays (ones that can jump out of the water) while we were swimming and bodysurfing, but they aren't dangerous unless you threaten them. Here are photos of Hellfire Bay, Twilight Beach and Lucky Bay.
